In honor of today being official Receptionist's Day, I am reminded of how some of my clients have changed the job titles for their receptionist to the Director of First Impressions.
Not only is this a more fun and creative title, it also redefines the
purpose of the job and serves as a reminder as to just how important the role of a receptionist is. In a similar style, a hotel food and beverage manager felt a renewed sense of purpose when his job title was changed to the Manager of Vibe.
So, how could you redefine your job title (or add an alternative job title) to make it not only more fun, but more meaningful?
